I spent most of the summer with Amanda Mayers, Tiffany Burnett, Alyse Stephens, Matt Roberts, Jeremy Evans, Lincoln Payne, Kody Parton, Stephanie Hill, and Melanie Chandler. The summer began kind of slow. I don't think that graduation had really sank in yet. It was a simple summer, but I think that the simplicity of it made it all the more better. I spent many afternoons at Mammoth Springs feeding the ducks (no, Matt wasn't with me on any of those occasions...lol), I went to a Travis Tritt concert with Alena Bunch and some twenty-eight year olds (that was kinda weird), I spent lots of nights sitting in parks with Kody until like really late just talking about life, Stephanie and I always ate at Taco Hut and went to the lake or river, most of my class went on a canoe trip that Jacob Evans almost drown on... that was really bad, Jacob soon after that left me for Nashville and only came back right before I left... I miss my best buddy... I also spent a lot of time chilling with another of my best buddies, Mr. Kelly Cauble. He's always a blast to be around. Most Friday and Saturday nights were spent cruising West Plains until around midnight and then all of us going back to Amanda's to take 2 am swims or stay up all night in her basement. Mattie Barbour's pregnancy really began to show and at five months she already looked as if she was about to pop, I went to the fair like four times while it was in West Plains because there was nothing else to do. Poor Jonathon Blodgett ended up puking all over the final ride that he, Lori Prewett, Kelly and I road on. CJ and I traveled up to Maryville at the end of June for SOAR. LOL, that was a dandy trip. Towards the end of the summer came all too soon. I spent most evenings with the gang just making last memories. I went to the river with Jeremy, Kenny Wallen, Adam Pace, and Seth Draper and they've became great friends. I even found out that Draper was the one other person from our whole area attending Northwest so he's been a MAJOR help. Amanda and Tiffany threw a surprise going away party that I figured out anyway. It was awesome. Jacob came back for it, Cheryl Wallen was there and it was great seeing her again, and Alyse, Richie, Lincoln, Matt, Tanya, Kenny, Adam, and Stephanie were able to come. We swam all afternoon acting like morons, then went to see Without a Paddle, and then came back to Amanda's as final tradition and spent the whole night at her house just sitting up talking, eating, and watching Lady of the Tramp. I also found that Adam and Kenny have some very weird conversation topics. That last Monday in West Plains, Jeremy and I went down to Kosh and Thayer and then came back to West Plains and made a "documentary" of all the places I spent the most time at during my high school years. That night I spent time with Jacob and his brother Nathan, and Kayla Henry. Tuesday I packed and then that night Steph and I went out to Adam's to drink with him and Kenny. Jeremy and I were the only ones who didn't end up getting wasted or puking or anything. Tuesday I went to lunch with Jeremy, Stephanie, Matt, Tanya, Amanda, and Tiffany and we all hung out at my house all afternoon. That night Kenny and Cheryl came by to watch a movie and said their good byes and then Jeremy, Tanya, and Amanda later did the same. The next day I moved and up to Maryville which brought an end to the beginning. I am so going to miss everyone, and I'll always hold you in my heart forever.
